Author and historian, Gordon G. May, has been riding classic motorcycles for around 35 years. He toured India and Nepal for six months on a 350 Bullet in 1988 and has since owned many other Royal Enfields as well as a small collection of other classic British motorcycles.
Gordon is a regular stallholder at motorcycle shows in the UK where he sells his books, gel pads and other classic bike accessories. During the week, he runs the Royal Enfield Books website, gives talks to motorcycle clubs and other interested groups about his overland adventures and has also worked for Royal Enfield as their consultant historian for a nuimber of years.
Both a British and New Zealand citizen, Gordon lives near Manchester in the north of England and has one son, Jacques.
